- The FCC is implementing mandatory 10-digit dialing across the U.S. To complete all local calls, you will now need to dial area code + telephone number. This applies to all calls within your area code that are currently dialed with seven digits. This change will begin April 24, 2021 and will be required starting October 24, 2021.
- The FCC Acting Chairwoman, Jessica Rosenworcel, announced her first set of anti-robocall actions during the March Open Meeting to kick off efforts to combat unwanted robocalls.
